Art Happens Wherever You Find It

The first is a few strands of wet hair on the shower wall. I was fascinated by the consistently elegant curves and harmony of the overall shape as maneuvered it with my finger, but it remained beautifully abstract. The second is a knot in a piece of wood. I played with the tones and forms a little, but again it resisted any representational interpretation. To me art is playing with the world and showing what I discover. Anyone can participate in the process. Anyone can be an artist.

Playing with wet hair on the shower wall. It is an interesting medium. Each movement affects the whole shape. The curves are always elegant and abstract.
