Illustrated Poem

I can only pay attention to one of these at a time:

Mary Clayton’s early morning voice breaking,

Or

an afternoon moth spread on a screen door.

I think my neighbor across the way thought I was a little crazy laying on the ground taking a picture of my awning through the screen door, but that is how art gets done. It is not a totally sane process, or maybe a little more sane given that peoples perceptions, including my own, are so limited, one point of view at a time.
