I find the black and white version compelling and more engaging than the colourized version – so rich to meditate on!
During the hours I worked on this piece I found it hypnotic and fascinating how adding a group of tiny circles could change the whole impression of the piece overall not just the section I was working on. I saw how much subtle color changed the feeling of the original, but the inspiration and experience of the creation of the piece remains monochrome for me as well.
