Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better.
Samuel Becket, Westward Ho
Decay feeds growth which leads to full life and withering and back to decay. There is no separating one from another each is a part of the process.
Failure is the shadow of success. Frustration and shame and defeat are the opposite of success. There is no learning without mistakes, no meaningful victory without risk of failure which must be looked squarely in the eye and assessed before moving forward.
The path to any worthwhile goal will be littered with the husks of thoroughly examined failures. Their will be frustration, but objective critical examination and adjustments made and tried and new discoveries integrated until what succeeds ultimately may look very little like the initial idea. Nobody knows what will work until it is tried, but to try is to risk failing.
I don’t think there is any other solution than constantly coming to terms with the past, and learning from it.
