Singing From A Place I Recognize

This is one of the most amazingly raw and agonizing performances I have ever heard. If this doesn’t have an effect on you, you better check your pulse or your humanity. It comes from a place I have been and is good to see and feel from the outside just to know the range of emotional places in which people can hold on to existence and come back. Kind of like watching “Requiem for a Dream” or ” The Conversation” or the poetry of Louise Gluck. It is all about being small and alone in the immensity of the night and living through it. Why is it a good place to go? Because you can come back and the journey there and back is what it is all about.
