Taking a Break

I have aborted self-experiment #5, but I learned enough by going as far as I did. Writing or even publishing poems at that rate is very taxing when you are doing anything else.

Work last week was insane. Everyone at the main office wanted all of our paperwork up to date so that they could look at it over the break, which is a ridiculous request in a short month full of home visiting and families in crisis. We are never completely up to date, ever, unless we are not doing anything to keep up to date. Like my friend Asha says, “Paperwork is like chasing your tail. You just never catch up to it.”

Well anyway I am done with that for 2 weeks and am enjoying my family. I hope everyone else is doing all right as well, and enjoying some peace and good will in whatever form that takes for you.
