You may be in or entering a time when you need to be a leader or use leadership skills in order to achieve a goal. Inspiration, energy and courage are needed combined with the will to command others in a common effort beneficial to those you lead and maybe for generations to come.

The Emperor can represent unmodified ambition and overly assertive use of authority. Wielding an overwhelming energy that is both creative and destructive at the same time.

Tarot #45: Prince/Knight of Swords, creative intellect without roots

A person who has creative intelligence with no grounding in practical application and/or lacking life relationship building skills or has no interest in these.

You should examine your relationships with the people who are involved in your life to determine if you are allowing them to inhibit your creative endeavors.

There is the possibility that your creative endeavors and projects have narrowed your point of view so much that you have alienated people who are close to you.

You may have sacrificed or be in the process of sacrificing your human relationships for your intellectual pursuits and be focused on academic or artistic projects to the point of unbalance.

Now is a good time to develop of discipline the learning of complex skill requiring mental and physical skill, mind and body cohesion.

You may need to focus on building skills that help you to make your creative work in a more manifest and interactive in the world.

You may need to use logic and reasoning in a creative way to resolve a problem in which emotional and physical ties are inhibiting you.

It is time to stop banging your head against whatever wall you have chosen and find a new way to move forward.

You are engaging in self-deception or hypocrisy and possibly leading others into an unwinnable battle that is very unlikely to make much of a positive difference or may even be harmful if successful. Find attainable goals that really matter and begin to work towards them methodically.

You pay close attention to the way you communicate and the messages you send. Every word, symbol and picture should be well chosen and the media you use should fit the message in order to avoid misunderstandings.
