In our classroom the sunlight slanted in and lay on the floor in a bright pool inspiring young artists and older ones too.
They sat on the edges of the light arranging random objects and enjoying the contrast of the shadows on the mottled white floor.
This is my idea of heaven on earth, to be engaged in a warm stress free activity on a bitterly cold day.
This I think I will call “Transformed by Light.
The children have been gathering ice from around out in the field and trenches. So we decided to plant a crop of ice by setting out random containers of water. I am sure we will have a good harvest tomorrow morning.
